Ordering from Taiwan · Delivered in Los Angeles

Send flowers to Los Angeles from Taiwan

A gift from Taiwan to Los Angeles does not cross a border, a state line or an ocean: it is assembled a few miles from where it will be received. Place the order before 11 a.m. Pacific and it can be at the recipient's address that same afternoon. You are charged in US dollars, and your recipient pays nothing on arrival — no customs, no duty, no import fee.

How the order goes through

Ordering from Taiwan for a Los Angeles recipient

A Taiwanese address is written from the postal code down to the street, and the billing form takes it that way. Taipei is fifteen hours ahead of Los Angeles, so the 11 a.m. Pacific cutoff is 2 a.m. the next day there. New Taiwan dollars convert on the card; Traditional Chinese has not been verified on the card printer — Latin letters print reliably.

There is no residency requirement — a buyer from Taiwan checks out like anyone else. What matters is keeping the halves straight: the Taiwanese side (postal code, city, district and street address) pays; the Los Angeles side receives, and sets the date, the fee and the same-day question.

  1. 01
    Who is paying

Yourself, as your card company lists you, postal code too.

  2. 02
    Who is receiving

Name, building, floor or unit, the Los Angeles-area town and its ZIP, and a mobile number.

  3. 03
    When, and what to say

Two mandatory boxes: the Los Angeles calendar day and the wording for the printed card.

The charge on your card

Charged in US dollars, nothing owed on arrival

Every price on the site is in US dollars and the charge to your card is in US dollars. California sales tax and the address-specific delivery charge are shown before you pay. Your bank or card issuer converts the USD total to New Taiwan dollars at its own exchange rate and may add its own fee — the site does not quote a TWD total. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay, are the payment marks shown at checkout; all accept Taiwanese billing addresses.

Cut-off and clocks

11 a.m. Pacific is the deadline for a same-day order — 2:00 am GMT+8 in Taiwan. Past it, the next open Los Angeles date is what the checker returns, and a ZIP outside the same-day zone will never show the current day. Figures were calculated for 2026-09-12, clocks adjusted for daylight saving at both ends; today's cutoff on your own clock appears just below.

What you write

The card, for a sender in Taiwan

A card is compulsory on the product page and is printed verbatim. Languages that apply here: Mandarin.

Latin alphabet, please

Our card printer has been checked with Latin characters only; Traditional Chinese has not been through that check. Transliterate, or write in English, and the text comes out as entered.

Addresses in Latin characters too

Name, billing and delivery boxes were verified with the Latin alphabet alone. Sentiments go on the card; couriers see only the address.

What people send to Los Angeles

Flowers people send to Los Angeles most

All bouquets

Taiwanese senders are a small group; the gifts shown are the ones Los Angeles sends most.

Champagne and wine gifts are for recipients 21+ — California's legal drinking age. Photo ID is checked at the door, and the gift goes back if no one of age can sign for it.

Afterwards

Tracking, help and alcohol pairings

Where is my order?

Order tracking needs the purchasing email and the recipient's ZIP; freshly placed orders register after a few minutes.

Talking to the team

Have the order number handy and get in touch; the desk is staffed 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. Eastern, which is Taiwan: 8:00 pm–8:00 am GMT+8 (crosses midnight).

Bottles and the law

Anything containing champagne, wine or spirits is handed to a grown adult who is present, as California and federal rules require; ID can be requested at the door. Recipients must be 21+ (the legal drinking age in California); the driver checks photo ID at the door.

Questions senders ask

Taiwan to Los Angeles

If something about the order or the delivery address is unclear, ask — a person will answer.

Ask Los Angeles Blooms ↗
Are cards issued in Taiwan accepted?

They are — all of the marks shown in the payment section, for a billing address in Taiwan. The transaction is in US dollars and your issuer turns it into New Taiwan dollars at its rate, sometimes with a foreign-transaction fee.

Where does my postal code go, and where does the ZIP go?

Your postal code belongs to the billing address; the recipient's five-digit ZIP belongs to the delivery address — and it is the ZIP the checker on this page wants.

Can the card message be in Mandarin?

In Latin letters, yes: transliterate the message and it is printed as entered. We have not yet confirmed that Traditional Chinese comes through the printer intact.

Will you deliver to a workplace, hotel room or hospital bed?

We will, as long as the building takes deliveries that day. Name the company, hotel or hospital, give the suite, room or ward, and leave a telephone number; wards do not all accept flowers, so ask the hospital before ordering.

Can I choose a delivery date in advance?

Yes. Enter the recipient's ZIP code in the checker, then pick any available date on the product page. Choose the Los Angeles date the flowers should arrive, not your own calendar date.

Could the person receiving the gift be asked for money?

No — the bouquet never crosses a border, so there are no customs, duties or fees to collect, and delivery is already paid by you at checkout.
